The 2015 Topps Heritage release pays tribute to the 1966 Topps edition. It’s not one of my more favorite sets, so I’m less excited this year, but it still does what it sets out to do. Once again, the release pays homage to the original set, containing short prints in the style of original errors, as well as the style of subsets. There are even a couple of surprises this year, including the “gum stain” cards, which even have a faint scent of bubble gum.

2015 Topps Spring Fever Pack Break
We’re going to change it up a little bit with a single pack. The #2015 #topps Spring Fever release is a special promotion run by Topps through Hobby Stores. The stores give away these special unmarked packs of Spring Fever cards. The base set is 50 cards, with a few autographs mixed in. It’s a free little extra, but it’s not a bad change of pace.
The silver foil pack contains five cards. This pack contained:

2015 Topps Series 1 Jumbo Hobby Box Break
The first break of the new year is always an exciting time. It’s a nice reminder that baseball is just around the corner, along with the summer.
This is a pretty standard release from #topps. The Jumbo Hobby box contains 10 packs of 50 cards with 1 Autograph and 2 relics included. The biggest thing that stands out to me is there are a lot fewer insert cards in this release than we’ve seen in recently years. There is plenty of variety, but more base.

2015 Topps Baseball Series One Released 2/4/15
#topps Series One hits hobby stores today.
For the first time in many years, the basic set size has increased from 330 to 350. Also, gone are the all white borders we’ve seen since 2008. They’ve been replaced with team color related borders.
