2016-17 O-Pee-Chee Hobby Box Break

This Upper Deck hockey release is definitely geared toward set builders. It is one of the largest single series sets currently being produced with 550 base cards and 110 short prints on top of that. It can be a challenging set to finish, but it is doable.

The cards have a vintage feel to them with a thicker cardboard stock, similar to Topps Heritage. They do have a new design, but they still seem to emulate design choices from the past. Also included are a few different parallels, including a retro design parallel.

2015-16 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Hobby Box Break

This release is pretty much what you’ve come to expect over the recent years. It’s a modern release on old fashioned cardboard stock. The base set is 500 cards, with an additional 100 SP cards featuring marquee rookies and legends.

The box has 32 packs of 8 cards, but no guaranteed hits. There are a few parallels included, but not much in the way of inserts really. This is much more a set builder release than many of the other current options.
