Each Blaster Value Box delivers 8 packs with 9 cards per pack, including one Chrome Base or Parallel, one Base Aqua Border, and three exclusive Base Green Bordered Variations. The 225-card base set (numbered 501-725, with short prints from 701-725) focuses on fresh faces and traded veterans, making it a must-have for set builders chasing the full Heritage experience.
The holiday season just got a lot more exciting for collectors with the release of 2024 Topps Holiday Baseball! Dropping on November 13, 2024, this fan favorite set delivers a merry mix of festive designs, star-studded checklists, and chase worthy inserts that make it a must have for collectors looking to add some seasonal sparkle to their collections.
Sporting a 200 card base set, 2024 Topps Holiday Baseball mirrors the sleek design of the 2024 Topps flagship releases but decks the halls with neon stockings, Santa Claus, wreaths, elves, and plenty of snow and holly flair. The set features top MLB stars, rookies, and legends, with a quarter of the base cards (50 players) boasting short-print Holiday Image Variations—think candy cane bats and Santa hats. These variations can be spotted via the CMP code on the back (check the last three digits) or by hunting for those festive accessories.
A box advertises 10 packs with 10 cards per pack. There are no guaranteed hits, but each box includes a Holiday Ornament card.
The 2024 Topps 206 baseball card set revives the iconic T206 tobacco card style with a modern twist, launching exclusively on topps.com on October 3rd. This year’s edition features a 300-card base set, all in the nostalgic mini format, celebrating both current stars and legends of the game. Collectors can chase unique parallels like the Piedmont, Polar Bear, and American Beauty backs, with autographs landing every fourth box. Notable inserts include 1910 T210.
Boxes come with four 10-card packs, promising a blend of nostalgia and new collectibles to storm the trading card scene. This set captures the essence of baseball’s rich history, appealing to both seasoned collectors and newcomers alike.
Series 2 continues the flagship release for Topps. This release features cards 351-700 in the base set, while also continuing many of the insert sets from the first series. The Golden Mirror SSP continues with an SSP for every card in the release. There are also a few alternate rookie SSPs at the end of the set, including one paying special tribute to the famous Billy Ripken card from 1989 Fleer.
These releases are getting smaller while maintaining a fairly high price. It used to be you could count on getting a complete base set out of a jumbo box, but that is no longer the case. The box advertises 10 packs with 40 cards per pack. Each box also includes 1 autograph and 2 relic cards.
Heritage is back for 2024, this time paying tribute to the 1975 Topps release. The release follows the standard format we’ve come to expect, with flashback inserts featuring baseball and general news events from 1975, as well as an assortment of relics and autographs. There is one major change this year, which some say is a brilliant idea to push more people in to completing their sets.
In past releases, the base card SPs were an extension of the base numbering, recently filling card numbers 401-500. This year, however, that’s been changed. SPs this year, are card number 1 to 100. The feeling is that it’s easy to skip the high numbers, but a set will likely feel incomplete if you do not have the first hundred cards.
A hobby box contains 24 packs with 9 cards per pack, and advertises one relic or autograph per box. The relics fall much more commonly.
